Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Golden Rays of Sun represents the rays of the sun. He is considered a god in the tribe he is in, only for his attitude and pride over his golden scales. Their tribe is forbidden to go outside, to avoid secretive killing of prey, only the captured Royal Crimson and Blue dragons can go outside, only to hunt when all of the tribe is hungry. The Wyverns accepted one outcast bronze dragon into their tribe as he was very lonely, and the bronze dragon captured two dragons and has kept them despite the rules. The tribe was born under moonlight and never went out in the day until Golden Rays of sun found them and took them to a cave under the cover of night. There was a hole in the roof, and Sun had flown into the air pretending to raise the sun. Days he did not raise the sun was when there were enemies flying above, he'd cover the hole and ban even looking outside, to make them believe he had not risen it today.
