Water Walkers are small dragons that are frequently found around bogs and ponds. While they are flightless, they retain the flight sacs and hollow bones of their airborne cousins. These traits, coupled with their extraordinarily long, webbed toes, allow them to stand on top of calm waters, using their small sails to propel them wherever they please. They spend the majority of their lives on the water, retreating to the tops of lily pads when the waters become too rough to float atop.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Not Even a Dragon is frustrated with her lot in life. Since egghood, she was ignored for her lowly, common breed; no one would take her from the cave until Meerkat, feeling sorry for a few moments, came to pick her up. Soon, her owner's sorrow was replaced by resentment, as her existence prevented her from collecting rarer breeds from the cave.

As a hatchling, she was ambitious. She dreamed of becoming powerful and influential, a leader among waterwalkers. She was and still is neither charismatic nor particularly intelligent, but she still made every effort to make others notice her; however, Meerkat never paid very much attention to her, and the other dragons followed suit.

What's worse, she developed a wild crush on the Ridgewing twins, but they're too busy comparing their backflips to notice a lowly waterwalker like her. Sometimes it infuriates her, but most of the time she mopes around, moaning about how she's "not even a dragon to everyone else."
