Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Slytherin Snake, despite his name, is very kind and caring. He enjoys frolicking around in fields full of flowers (it's in his nature!) and chatting with friends. He's a very handsome dragon, too, with the gold oval on his head, like a gleaming gold gem. Unfortunately, Mad1022 enjoys (and maybe TOO much)telling the dragons all about Harry Potter. All of the dragons have heard of Slytherin and how the house is. Many of the ignorant and young dragons think he's just as mean as Draco Malfoy.

Slytherin Snake has heard Mad1022 discussing her "name plans" with Violet Streamers ("First I'll name all of the dragons after Harry Potter, then Eragon!" and felt utter pity for the next few dragons to be named after houses. Slytherin just doesn't have the heart to tell Mad1022 how these names will probably ruin the dragon's lives...
