Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Reign Beaux took refuge from humans in the abandoned kingdom, Goliath, and would go out and burn towns to the ground. In his fury, he stole a princess and had said he would return her for a large amount of gold and silver. Many knights have tried to take her by force but never find her and most are often die trying to fight Reign Beaux. Shealos, A dragon from Never Winter spoke with Reign Beaux and offered him a sanctuary at Aquaria where Reign Beaux would be around his own kind and be given respect from humans that he could not receive in Goliath for the princess's freedom. The humans tried to kill Reign Beaux and Shealos after the princess was returned to them and the town was first burned down and Then Shealos froze the rest of it over and it now stands as a glacier. Reign Beaux know lives in Aquaria with Shealos and are happy together.
