Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!

Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Affamee was one of the few—perhaps the only—Nocturne Dragon that craved the sunlight. From the very moment she became a hatchling, she reached for the golden rays of the sun streaking from the cave's ceiling, and of course, became grey and petrified. For a long time, she was shunned, known as a traitor, an alien. Attempts to befriend always went awry, attempts to discipline her only ended in failure. It was clear that Affamee was not born to be a true Nocturne, and for that, she was banished. She lives her life mostly in a gargoyle's position, so fond of warmth and light she is, and at night, she prefers to stay hidden within the darker shadows than to streak out into the sky like most of her kin. Moonlight, she finds, is a compromise: a way to bathe in something other than darkness while still being free and dynamic. You may find her either frozen, or entranced by the glow of the two moons.
