Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pangenea is a young female Earth Dragon.  For her breed, she has a remarkable control of her temper.  Although she has wings, she doesn't leave the deep recesses of the cave unless she has to go.  Even with her amazing control, she has been known to lose her temper, with disastrous results, which probably accounts for her present control. When just a teenager, she had a jealous fit one day. She shook the earth, and stomped her feet in her anger and frustration.  As a result of her anger, the cave partially collapsed. Unfortunately, the collapse was in the nursery.  Many eggs were damaged and hatchlings were hurt.  Some of Pangenea's own siblings were caught in the melee.  It was a lesson she will never forget.  Now, when she feels her temper rising, she runs away as fast as she can.  She will not allow such a terrible thing to happen again.  Pangenea has become one of the region's greatest peacemakers, not only does she control her own temper, but she is adept at defusing others temper
