Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

As much as the resident narcissist Moonlight hates to admit it, Sakuya takes the title as one of the prettiest older dragons in the clan. Although her mother Amaterasu-ku never sees her due to Amaterasu-ku's job as deputy and the fact her father was a wild dragon, she still managed to grow into a loving matronly figure to the others. Given how easy she is on the eyes, many of the young hatchlings gravitate towards her rather than the other carekeepers. Luckily, Sakuya also is one of the guardians for the youngest ones. She sleeps with them every night, and when the sun rises, her tail raises up to shower the young ones in fresh cherry blossoms. Many other dragons try their best to creep in on her to see such a sight, but they are immediately beaten back by Wolf's Kage who is captain of the nursery keepers.

She apparently has some sort of precognition magic power, given her two offspring are in a permanent catatonic state, looking to the sky as if they were waiting for someone or something.
