Pitfire Dragons are an infernal breed, reveling in the suffering and misery of others. These dragons are not known to be strong magic users, nor are they capable of flight. However, these weaknesses are made up for in the extent of their physical prowess. They have little respect for most other creatures, including members of their own family group; however, those that have fought or fallen in battle against formidable foes are highly revered. They are constantly on the move, always on the hunt for food or a skirmish. The malevolent nature of Pitfires is feared by many, and the damage they leave in their wake is a sure sign for those to be wary. Pitfire activity has been noted to increase as the weather grows colder and the nights grow longer.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Settsu has no patience for the magical arts, but that doesn't stop him from rampaging his way into various cursed vaults and treasure hoards protected by profane rituals. He takes pride in being able to simply smash through the physical anchors used to manifest enchantments used to guard valuables. Though his scales bear the lasting marks of various poisons and curses, Settsu thus far has been able to shrug off all negative magical effects he has encountered, given enough time. To cement these victories in an obvious manner, Settsu does not focus on collecting gold and jewels from his raids. Rather, he makes trophies of the ancient amulets and arcane relics used to defend the hoards he has stolen from. He finds it rather amusing that the security measures once used against him are now put to work shielding his own cache of treasures.
