Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Old as the Hills, called Hillie by many, isn't actually as old as the hills. In fact, she's only been an adult for a decade or so, and is relatively embarrassed about her name, since it won't speak truly of her history for several centuries yet. Hillie does, however, have a sturdy constitution; she can walk outside in the middle of a blizzard and complete necessary tasks without any adverse effects to speak of, and never caught any of the typical hatchling diseases. She often makes long trips out to surrounding areas, to gather supplies for other dragons or carry messages to and fro.
