Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

2 Good 4 Melanin was named by a human that likes finding things out. 2 Good 4 Melanin doesn't really understand his name, so he merely calls himself Melanin. He likes his owner, though he is not that fond of other humans. Melanin merely likes his owner because he is so kind to him, but he gets a bit annoyed when his owner tries to experiment on him. Melanin merely shrieks at him when he attempts it, making him back off. Most dragons stay away from Melanin, which he doesn't really mind, but he wants a mate. He probably never will because he likes staying with his owner, though,  and most other dragons aren't that fond of humans. He only has a small Pygmy for a dragon friend, though. Because of this, be tends to shower kindness and protection on his small friend.
