White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cilirin often finds himself curled up in his family's cave, reading. He is intrigued with the tales of legend and lore. A certain tale about a hero who saves the world from endless war is among his favorites. He dreams of an adventure such as the characters in his stories.

He is, however, not very brave himself. So instead, he studies with the other white dragons to help in his own way. Though he secretly blames the fact that he is a white dragon for his lack of bravery.

His best friend Faoni has no such lack of boldness, and often drags him along to take part in her elaborate schemes.
