When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Loki is a simple quiet dragon. He moved into the ocean at adolescence because a lake bored him. He considers his best friends to be the remora that often hitch rides on his scales. The typical routine of this dragon is hiding in kelp forests and observing the local lower animals. Loki prefers colder climates, but will occasionally drift to warmer waters when he becomes bored. Not taken with the long life of a dragon Loki must find many different ways to entertain himself: this includes speaking primarily in poetry and rhymes. This tends to annoy the surrounding inhabitants so Loki is often left to himself and the remora. He is above the surface to watch humans occasionally, but prefers to stay below to tend to his gardens of kelp.
