Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Sapphirdred ShatterWing (after the gemstone: Sapphire) arrived into the clan cave as the 212th dragon. As a hatchling, it was mostly his actions that inspired the game Crisp Tail played between Obsidiez and the younglings. Although still young and small, he used his cold and freezing breath to harden the magma covering her tail, and then used his icy wings to shatter the resulting brittle crust. As an adult, this talent serves him well, for the practice has strengthened his wings greatly and there is not much that can withstand the force of his full wing fury! He maintains a distant, and seemingly cold demeanor, but most of the clan dragons see through the farce and know him to be a kind, tender, and rather compassionate dragon who wouldn't hurt a fly. The only exception would be to any who wished harm upon the clan or The Clan Mother; for those he reserves a special dislike and his wrath would explode fully upon those unwitting souls. Woe to any should they cross that path!
