White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lichten could be called a typical representative of White Dragons. He is kind, unable to harm anyone or anything. He even wouldn't be able to defend himself against a human or dragon holding the desire to harm him, probably resulting in his own death. Hence, on some days, Yousei is even more busy with caring for Lichten and protecting him than raising the hatchlings.<br/>He seems to not be aware of his healing abilities, and in association with his sensitivity due to which he starts to whimper over any little scratch, this little cry baby has to be treated by Yousei almost every second. Despite the thorn bushes and spiky twigs, he can't give up on his daily forest walks.<br/>He seems to have difficulties coming into contact with other dragons. They either  avoid him, whose close friendship to humans they reject or he avoids them since he detests their violent and murderous way of living, based on hunting and various rival fights.<br/>After all, he prefers the companionship of humans.
