Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Soniya Silverhawk is the mate of Aydan Silverhawk. As a child Soniya was always cheerful and her soft glow filled the cave she lived in with joy, and when she grew up to be a beautiful young woman the male dragons lined up to ask for her hand. Flattered by the attention she got from so many she eventually chose for another silver dragon, her current mate Aydan. Yet their relationship is a free one and both dragons do not deny their partner an occasional flirt, because they both know that in the end the most important thing is the love they feel for each other.
