Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ayitah is an extremely fast Terrae dragon, almost matching the speed of a Whiplash dragon. Ayitah becomes very upset sometimes, for she wishes she had wings. She can become very sad when around other dragons that are lucky enough to have wings. Flying has always been a major dream of hers. She wishes to use her speed with wings so that she may fly fast.

  Ayitah's mate, Ayito often comforts her. He understands her sadness, for he has wings himself and couldn't imagine life without them. Ayitah always asks him what its like to fly. He answers her differently every time, and Ayitah often enjoys the different answers. Sometimes, when Ayito has the strength, he carries her on his back when flying, for he loves her very much and loves to see her happy.

  Since Ayitah can't fly, she uses her swift and silent skills to hunt, earning her the nickname "Sniper". She finds a hiding spot, waits for her prey, and pounces, killing it quickly and quietly.
