This breed of dragon was thought to exist only in legend. Although their name varies between cultures, they are often referred to as “Guardians of Nature.” They are able to channel the forces of fire, ice and lightning, which allows them to wield tremendous power. Seen very rarely, it is thought that they only become active when something is threatening the territory they have chosen to guard. In order to protect their chosen home, these dragons are incredibly adaptable; they have been seen everywhere from remote mountain ranges, to ancient forests, to the darkest depths of the ocean.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Not much is known about Missalina. She has never interacted well with the other dragons and she is known to be very serious, but Missalina is very powerful and is well respected by many. The pack calls her their leader and she is always the first to know about any disturbances around.  Missalina usually never has time to relax but she loves what she does with a passion. She herself would like to interact with the others more, but she feels that she doesn't deserve such kindness. Missalina once protected a different cave. Patrolling the area, she went off for a flight with a dragon that she had mistaken for a comrade. It took her awhile she eventually noticed that he was an enemy. She escaped, but by the time she returned she found the cave in complete ruin. Missalina realized that countless died because of her foolish mistake, so she promised her dead comrades that she would fulfill her destiny and would with all her heart protect another cave, and this is the one she is in now.
