Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Erestor is no doubt a very lazy dragon. He is content to drift in the clouds all day, high up in the sky where few could bother him. He is also a bit of a prankster, and often gets into trouble with his Clan's deputy, Feanor. Even worse, his ways are being picked up by some of the frozen hatchlings, Tar-Dirheal, Castamir, and Thrain. All together, they give Feanor quite a bit of trouble, whether it be stealing food or letting ants loose in other dragons' nests. Feanor, at the end of his patience, assigned several dragons to keep watch on him, but Erestor made their jobs so miserable they begged to be relieved of their duties! Oblivious to his troubles, there is no doubt that Erestor Dreamspirit will continue his easy life, lazily flying around the clouds to the end of his days.
