Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. There was magic in the water, and it did not take a seer to see it. The shore was an array of fine white sand, and the sea a cold glass that captured all reflected in it and held it there forever. Those who gazed into the depths could see travelers from ages past, the light of stars long since faded, and--above all--the image of twin peaks, mist-wreathed, beautiful and ethereal beneath the moon.
