Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Reckless and arrogant, Lars is always used to getting what he wanted. His best friend, Ilian, a black Silver Mountain dragon, and he got into all sorts of mischief growing up. He is hot-headed, and quick to act, often speaking before thinking, yet now that he older he has learned the value of mistakes. Like his best friend he chased after Neverwinter of Silver Vale. When the white dragon was torn between the two friends he tried to pressure her into making a choice. Ilian came to her defense and because of that Lars lost his chance with Neverwinter. A rift arose between the two friends, though in time it became healed as Lars learned to be happy for his friend.<br/>Lars may still be rather cocky and full of himself, but he has also learned from the past never to let his mistakes repeat themselves. When he finds another she-dragon that will catch his fancy he will let things progress at the pace that she wants, not the other way around.
