Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Prince Malacath was named after an orc god from a land far away. True to his name's origins, Malacath has adopted may of the orcish beliefs, such as brawling for fun and having several wives. However, even with what others would call a rough and barbaric lifestyle, Malacath is an honorable soul. He cherishes each of his wives and children and vowed to never seriously harm another dragon out of anger or injustice. His hopes and dreams are to build a powerful empire with his family that will one day become known to everyone.
