Beauty, who considers himself male, looks for the goodness in everyone and everything. Though he sure even Shiny has some goodness in her, he agrees it must be buried very, very deep and isn't volunteering to be one to find it. He often recites his own (bad) poetry to Sir Scribe dealing with some bit of beauty he saw that day. Sir Scribe dutifully records each word but can't help wincing at how terrible it is.
