Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Palatine Divous always felt like she never belonged anywhere. Palatine knew she wasn't a real dragon, but that didn't discourage her from trying. Everyday, she steals away from the cave and tries to practice flying. She has made some improvement, she can fly for 3 minutes. But she constantly has to get her wings fixed, as she gets holes through them while flying.

But she never tells Guena how she got them. She always wishes on this very bright star every night before she sleeps. Her only wish is to be a real dragon, to fly where ever she pleases, without needing to be repaired or anything. She hopes that her wish will someday come true.
