When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
"Curses, Kirkan, I'm a Water Dragon, not a doctor!"
Dr. Bones had the unfortunate mishap of being named as a doctor by his parents. Thus, when he grew up, other dragons would come to him with their problems. A broken leg here, a hurting wing there, and all the time complaints about teeth. He always told them to go away, that he wasn't actually a doctor, but did they listen--noooo.
They still come to his cave. They still ask for his help. Every now and then, one miraculously comes back and thanks him for the help. Confused by this, Dr. Bones didn't question it until he received word that the aspiring hatchling doctor, EV-A4-3, was telling everyone that their recoveries were magic, and caused by--you guessed it--Dr. Bones.
Two dragons in particular, Kirkan and Splock, are always coming to him for help. Dr. Bones is still telling them he's not a doctor, and they're still not listening...
