Shadow Walkers are a strange breed that possess the ability to slip between the planes of reality, becoming immaterial. This allows them to hide in the shadows, either hunting from the concealment of near invisibility or evading enemies. Though they become corporeal to mate or to eat, they spend most of the rest of their lives walking in the shadows. Shadow Walkers are wary creatures, though on dark autumn evenings when the leaves fall to swirl in the chill, rain damp air, they may be seen drifting out from the shadows.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Although counted paranoid and shy among other dragon species, Octaveia is counted extremely headstrong in the terms of her own species. She often gets into heated debates with her childhood friend, Homulily, about what is right and wrong. These debates end with the two accidentally turning invisible on each other, causing them to wonder where the other dragon went.

Octaveia has a strong sense of morality, unlike the friend she loves to hate. She respects all the elements for what they are, not afraid of the fires and loving the seasonal cycles that course through the territory scenery. Since her sense of justice is so high, she will rarely use her planes walking power to hide most of her life. However, if the situation is dubbed dangerous enough, she will vanish, in hope that the issue will settle peacefully on it's own.

Octaveia is a normal shade of white, with a thick mist always surrounding her. Her eyes, though, are a vibrant crimson.
