Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Stone was once owned by a woman named Cari Stone. Cari had known Ice for many years even though Cari never really owned Ice, but after a long time of the two traveling together, both Cari and Ice wanted different things; Ice wanted to help other dragons but Cari wanted power and money but she also loved dragons. They went their separate ways, and Cari found Stone. Cari cared for Stone, but one day Cari was killed by a dragon. Stone took Cari's last name; out of respect, and she set out to kill the dragon to avenge Cari. She found the dragon and killed it without mercy. With her revenge fulfilled, she didn't know what to do next, so she flew to the only remaining creature she had ever known besides Cari; Ice. She met Ice and asked if she could join Ice's clan. She was accepted and has lived here forever more. She is a hot-head and easily angered; she had changed since Cari had been killed. She was once kind and shy; she is now cruel and speaks her mind.
