Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Ce Ai is a beautiful little hatchling, with a heart of gold, but yet she is playful, and wished never to have to grow up. Her wish was granted, and now Ce Ai enjoys life as an eternal hatchling. She is definitely not jealous of the other hatchlings becoming adults; she is in fact happy that she will never have the responsibilities of an adult. She is best at healing other hatchlings, who tend to trust a smaller healer better than a large, scary one. <br/>Since there are no other frozen hatchlings in her cave, Ce Ai contents herself with playing with the other eggs and hatchlings. Although she is older than most of them, she will always be a hatchling at heart.
