Sweetlings are a small, flightless breed of dragon. They are omnivores who favor sweet fruits and honey, and have been known to go to great lengths to obtain their favorite treats. Their long, prehensile tails allow them to grab onto branches and give them superior balance. Sweetlings are expressive dragons and have a large array of calls to communicate with others. They become very vocal during breeding season and sing long, beautiful melodies to attract a mate. Inquisitive in nature, Sweetlings are known to investigate anything that piques their interest, and are quick to flee if the object of their curiosity strikes back.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"ADVIII!" screamed the dragon tamer in rage while having her eyes fixed on the massive pile of broken porcelain and cake crust. A small, bright pink head poked behind the door. "WHAT IS THIS!" Flitz continued. "This is like, what! The FOURTH time this month! Advi you- she continued yelling. She had every right to complain and be as angry as she wanted. See, Advi was truly lovely. Playful, charming, delicate and graceful he knew he was precious to her. But, unfortunately, he had his dark, mischievous side as well. He couldn't contain himself in front of something sweet. His boyish tamer baked berry cakes twice a week. Always hidden on the top of the shelf it was impossible for him to get to them. In the beginning that is. After Flitz found out about her friend's nasty habit she tried to find new spots to hide her cakes but her efforts were fruitless. This time it just seems that while the sweetling tried to get his cake he took his tamer's expensive porcelain plate and tea set with him.
