And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Little Carez will never grow up to be a great protector of the clan. There is a way to compensate though: Caring, caring, and caring some more!<br/>Little C spends every day going about the cave and it's surroundings, caring as much for all the others as is possible. Sometimes a little more than is welcome.<br/>Not all dragons like to be woken from a nap by that little intruding mental voice going "Oh hai!"
