Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Smaller than most other dragons of her breed, Little Arthur received her name after a mix-up at her birth. After it was discovered that she was, in fact, female, the name had already stuck.

Due to her size she is physically weaker than most other Black dragons, however to combat this weakness she has learnt to better master her magical powers. although still young she is amazingly strong at spellwork, in particular battle spells and defensive spells.

Personality wise Little Arthur has a quick short temper, especially if someone comments on her size. But this is (thankfully) tempered by a strong protective instinct. So, if a stranger were to make a negative comment about her short stature she will (and has in the past) react violently, BUT if its someone she cares for, and they have a slip of the tongue, she will simply glare for a moment.

She hopes that a growth spurt will allow her to reach a more average height for a dragon of her breed. But this doesn't seem likely.
