As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

This excellent drake tends to always disappear on the early hours of the day, just before the sun rises. Apparently he flies to a nearby cave inhabited by a dozen of day glories around the time they wake up. He seems to fancy one of the youngest females but his shy personality does not allow him to make any moves. Trying to impress her from a mile away and screeching at her once is the most he has done.. His owner is confident that the she-drake has taken notice of this activity and is secretly trying along with her frozen frill hatchling, Frilled Terminator to somehow hook the two up, but till now they have had no success.
