Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aeous lives far from most settlements, taking up residence in the far off eastern hills. It's in the hills and valley forests he trains for battle. He doesn't know what he's training for just yet, but he is determined to be ready when the time comes. His friends include Cirus And Suric the two headed dragon that visits every spring. Every spring Aeous travels with them to a distant human settlement so they can leave special healing potions for the humans. Aeous doesn't care much about helping the humans but since it means a lot to his friends he tags along for security. Aeous also enjoys the annual company of Tyedos, the Bleeding Moon dragon. He migrates down from the mountains to the foothills when it's too cold for him at high altitudes. Aeous loves his company and enjoys his visits immensely. Normally male dragons are very territorial, but Aeous and Tyedos are a bit closer than average males...
