Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Oddly enough, it has two heads that seem to enjoy playing with each other.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Dan and Ann have two heads, but one heart. They share a body up until the neck, where they split and become—as far as the humans can tell—two different dragons. The darker blue head is called Old Dan, or just Dan. He is strong and very rambunctious. Lil' Ann, or just Ann, is the lighter blue head. She is highly intelligent and is always thinking. Ann has the brain, Dan has the brawn. Together they make a great team.
