Blancblack dragons are a two-headed breed known for their hardiness and easygoing nature. They are omnivorous, with the cream head preferring to eat plants and the violet head preferring to eat meat, and can adjust readily to harsh climates. These dragons are sociable—both with other two-headed breeds and with single-headed dragons—and can often be found as adopted members of social dragon colonies. They are often considered symbols of balance and fairness, and likenesses of Blancblacks have been found in ancient ruins associated with law and justice. Females Blancblacks have longer tails than males, which they use as whips when defending a nest from predators.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

Anima and Animus are a strange pair; Anima, the lighter head, calls himself a male but acts very feminine, while Animus, the darker head, calls herself a female but acts very masculine. The result is a lot of confusion for other dragons, but the duo just laughs it off. Like many two-headed dragons, they sometimes suffer a conflict of interest. As a solution, they alternate which head gets to make decisions; if Anima won the last argument, Animus gets to win this one, and vice versa. Anima typically likes to spend days playing with the tribe's hatchlings, while Animus prefers to have contests with other adult dragons, such as foot races or wrestling.
