Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Silvakier was one of the first two eggs in Sif's colony. Raised with Liean, Silvakier helped to establish the first steps towards building the strong foundations for the dragons that would come. And, since then, many have come. Being the elder dragons, they help Sif to maintain the great colony. Silvakier is ever calm, logical, and fair. Between his wise demeanor, protective instincts and his fighting strength, he took up the role as the peacekeeper of the colony.

He is a kind dragon, but do not mistake this as weakness though, as he can deliver when the situation demands, and the colony greatly respects for Silvakier, knowing that whatever happens, Silvakier will make sure that all are treated as they are due.

His job is not entirely fighting, though. Whenever any of the dragons of the colony have a problem, he ensures that they know they can come to him, both for advice and comfort.

Silvakier is a quiet one, but a mighty shield for the colony, and loved and respected in equal measure
