Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

In the cave of the child of dragons, the family has been ever-growing. By now, cliques have formed and thus focus is upon the Ole-Kahi clan, a family of "disgusting" undead dragons. Many of the other dragons are prejudice against the rotten flesh-eating beasts, but the child of dragons loves them equally along with the other dragons so there is never really any uprising- just dirty looks and whispering.

Bethelb is the newest addition to the Ole-Kahi clan. She was found nearby as a hatchling, though unlike Ka'aki, the child of dragons recognized Bethelb as a Vampire dragon and not a dead hatchling. She immediately carried Bethelb back to the cave and left it in the care of Koa and Ka'iwi, the two brothers who are the head of the Ole-Kahi clan. Just like any other outcast undead dragon, they took Bethelb in and raised her lovingly.

Bethelb grew up to be a self-efficient dragon, unlike her older sister Ka'aki. She learned to hunt on her own and rarely needs Koa and Ka'iwi's help.
