Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

She is beautiful. At least, that's what she thinks about herself. She loves to walk glamorously among the other dragons of her clan to show off her fins. Her temper is hot, probably because she was born from a fire dragon. She believes that her contribution to the clan's growth is to attract other dragons or to induce them to abandon eggs that her master wishes. But she's having a hard time to call the attention of a vampire dragon. There's one in particular that looks really interested in her, and this vampire seems to frighten away the others. She pretends she doesn't understand the risk, but she knows that with this vampire, she is playing a dangerous game.
