Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Her owner insists that her name is a fitting tribute to some other great mage, but Natayah remains simply confused about her full title. After all, she is not royalty, and would not want to be if she had the option. She also has no idea where channels come into it. She is not a dragon who spends much time in the water beyond bathing once a day. She has often pressed her owner for more information about this mysterious mage who is her namesake, but her owner has been less than helpful in her response, insisting that Natayah should simply be proud of her name and that further explanation is unnecessary. Only when the owner threatened to switch names between her and another Soulpeace did Natayah stop her pestering, but secretly the curious female Soulpeace hopes to one day meet her namesake.
