Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ever since he was a hatchling, the other dragons used to make fun of Ayalonn due to his shimmery bright color that seemed so out of place and his impractacle looking wings. After so much of this, Ayalonn began to get withdrawn, reclusive, and grumpy. It was the only way to live with what he faced everyday. The other dragons saw him less and less until he became more of a crazy myth to them rather than something to laugh at.

It happened on a Christmas Eve not so long ago. The hatchlings were playing in the snow while everyone else was in warming themselves by the fire. One particular Mint got a bit too close to the trees and a wolf leapt out and grabbed it. It didn't take much for Ayalonn to conquer the wolf, but when he brought the young hatchling back unscathed and with a story to tell, he was seen in a whole new light. The others began to respect him and he grew a little less sullen. Though he is no longer an outcast, Ayalonn still is only seen around Christmas.
