Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Sapphire desertflower is a very feisty, rude and eccentric dragon. She is known to become aggressive and challenging to other females and forms rivalries easily. She only allows other males of the clan to enter her territory. She enjoys the sound of battle and the thrill of victory over others when challenged. She faces her problems head on. One might say Sapphire is very rough around the edges when it comes to interacting with other dragons. Because she fights so much her wings are more ripped and tattered than other spitfire dragons are. Her entire body is filled with scars. She trains constantly with black dragons making her very experienced and strong. Sapphire is also known for her masculine build and tomboyish behaviour. A lot of dragons mistake her for a male when they see her because of this. Sapphire really hates that especially during breeding season. She ironically attracts a lot of female dragons which she of course scares away. The males even see her as competition.
