Imperial Fleshcrownes are an active and playful breed. They are equally good at flying and climbing and while they are not good swimmers, they love to take an occasional dip. Fleshcrownes live in large social groups called “communities.” Adult Fleshcrownes share the responsibility of looking after the young, who are very playful and active. Even after maturing, they retain their curious and mischievous natures, often getting into trouble. The fleshy crowns on their head can be raised at will, and are usually erect when happy, excited, or scared. Fleshcrownes—being a very peaceful breed—are more prone to flight than fight. If threatened, they can raise their crowns while hissing in an attempt to scare off predators.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Adopted by the Teimarr dragoness Jessamine of Isles and her life-mate Corvo before she had even hatched, Emily was an extremely inquisitive and playful hatchling who spent much of her time exploring or digging for items to add to her collection of broken shells and wilted flowers. She has always shared a close bond with Corvo, idolizing him to the point of mimicking his behaviour and mannerisms on several occasions, and ever badgering him with questions or requests for tales of warfare and fantastic beasts. Now that she has matured, Emily has become nearly as wise and thoughtful as her adoptive mother and is well regarded for her fair and just mentality.
