Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

After being abandoned, Kureno Mu was rescued from starvation by a kind human named KooriRenchuu.  The dragons that Koori had accepted Kureno Mu as one of their own very quickly.  Kureno Mu, now an adult dragon, is a playful, yet mature member of the hunting group.  He is new to the hunting group, but he is well respected for his skills.  He and the other black dragons tend to stay together, though this is mainly due to the pheromones being sent off by each other.  Capricious to a fault, he tends to do whatever he feels like when he's not hunting.  This lands him in trouble with Sawbones Junior, the eldest dragon of the group.  Kureno Mu has a relatively low self confidence, but his confidence is boosted by Kurena Onyx's kind conversations with him.
