Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

After being abandoned by his original clan and labeled a Curse, he traveled through the land trying to find a place where he could belong. His travels brought him to Bloodvain Castle where Darkor, the master took him in willingly, too willingly. IT soon became apparent that Darkor had sinister plans for the Vampires that had accumulated there. Curse discovered an old chamber that told the story of two ancient clans of Vampires that were mortal enemies. Curse discovered that he was a member of the Dracula clan and not Bloodvain. He kept it secret until Darkor went too far and forced Curse to bite an egg in front of it's mother. Once the egg hatched and was able to fly Curse announced to the clan that he was a Dracula and so was the egg he had bitten.

Curse was forced to flee with Angel, the one he had bitten and managed to escape. They have managed to lose the Bloodvains and took in another young Vampire named L'il Drac. The Dracula clan has once again returned to fight the Bloodvains.
