Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kalsta is a true master of the skies and weather. She loves to dance through thunderstorms, and weave through hurricanes like they were nothing. While she loves to brew fierce storms for sailors, she's not malicious. She simply enjoys the creation.

Since land tends to break up storms after a short amount of time, Kalsta tends to remain offshore, above the ocean's warmer waters of the tropic regions. There she can weave her magic to her heart's content, especially in the summer months. During this time, she hardly ever comes back to land to feed, tending to munch on fish and other sea life that she can find for energy. She doesn't like interruptions when she brews her best storms.

During the winter months, when the air (and subsequently, waters) cools, Kalsta returns back above land, where she turns her thunderstorms into snowfall. She's a bit less energetic during these months, and thus, not too many blizzards find their way in her creation. It isn't until late spring that she returns
