Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This Stripe was born into a lineage of Heroic and Bold Stripes, the greatest of which was the only Red in the entire line until this stripe came along. His family pressured him into battle training that would have killed any normal Stripe's spirit. But he was no normal stripe. But he certainly hated it beyond imagine. It became too much. He fled to a land that he was told of only in Legend. It was believed to be simply a fairy tale full of Dragons of all kinds other than his Pure Striped World. He found many wonders there and had to survive on his own. This life toughened him and soon he was held in regard even among the Black Dragon Warriors for his skill. He is a reputable Lord now in this cruel world that sharpened him to a tearing tip. This is the Gilded Tragedy.
