Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Laughing merrily, Georgie Snider is nothing but a heap of trouble. Ever since he was a little fellow, this one didn't fail to tarnish his pod's only potable water or scare off food that was already scarce to begin with! Yes, Georgie is somewhat of a burden. No no, in fact, he is a burden! He has, of course, been told this time and time again, but it never seems to make his mischievous smirk vanish. Maybe this boy has no feelings of remorse or self-restraint, for even as an adult he remains troublesome as ever. The only dragon who doesn't groan and complain in his very presence is his mother, who always seems to know how to put her claws down and show the trickster who is truly in charge. Only time will tell what his poor, poor clan will do with the bundle of chaos when his blessed mother passes away.
