Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

It was a cold and snowy winter when two Aegis dragons arrived at the clan, seemingly from nowhere, and made themselves at home. Unlike his brother Pahpyrus, Sahns is very laid back and difficult to excite. He has a penchant for dropping bad puns whenever possible, and can often be found sleeping in very strange places, not minding when nearby hatchlings nestle into his plush fur. Beneath his nonchalant exterior, though, Sahns sometimes lets slip hints of a bleaker, more despondent side—though his brother is always quick to try and cheer him up whenever his melancholy surfaces, even if he doesn't understand where it stems from. Sahns in turn is fiercely protective of his brother, and this normally-lazy dragon's ire is terrifying to behold when Pahpyrus gets hurt.
