Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. BeautyOfTheNight is a somewhat vain dragon. She's beautiful and she knows it. She also knows she looks different from all the other Black dragons, except for Night's Dark Flames. She doesn't mind. In fact, she is glad she was blessed with her different yet captivating looks. She is one of the most gorgeous dragons on 6blossom6's scroll. One night, Night on Wings, a Nocturne dragon, convinced her to be his mate. When she had their first child, she found it was not a beautiful Black dragon like herself, but a hideous Nocturne baby. Horrified, she rejected her egg, leaving her now x-mate to care for it himself. This unfortunate dragon baby, Nighttime's Belle, grew up to be beautiful. BeautyOfTheNight was left feeling somewhat regretful that she had not claimed this exquisite creature as her own. Now, she is the mate of Night's Dark Flames, who wanted nothing more than to be with her all along.
