White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Long regarded as one of the most powerful healers in his clan, Zetan felt that nothing was beyond his abilities. Then, one day, his youngest son died in a tragic accident. With the help of the powerful magi, Gamboge, Zetan attempted to bring the little hatchling back from the dead. His fellow healers tried to warn him that this was beyond even his power and that no good would come of it, but the heartbroken father would not hear of it. Long into the night they worked in a desperate attempt to undo the tragedy. Just before dawn broke, the once still form of his son began to move slightly. Excited at the possibility that his efforts had been rewarded, Zetan leaned in close to examine his son. To his eternal shock and horror, he quickly realized that his son had become an abomination: a zombie! Gamboge offered to take care of the situation and Zetan returned to his place in the clan a humbled and defeated dragon.
