Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Skrutzel is a very boastful girl, going on and on about her 'best hunt' where she caught a 'three hundred and forty two pound goat' ,and how when she hatched she 'could've sworn she was a gold the way her scales shone', along with her constant bet that she can 'breathe a stream of fire for six minutes straight'.

Now, everyone in the cave knows that goats don't get that big, scales don't change that way with dorsals, and last they checked, only Reds, Magmas, and certain Magis could breathe or cast fire. But, they still let the girl go on and on. Hey, who could blame them. The bigger the fish tale, the greater the laugh.
